About the Artist
Born in 1965 in Stockholm ,Sweden, she left Europe in 1971 to reach Africa where she stayed over 15 years.
When she returned from West Africa she started painting the Sahara desert landscapes, whith warm colors.
You can fel the heet, ear the winds through her canevas.
Her oil painting is so delicate that some art crtic said it reminded them her ancestor, Andrian van de Velde (1636-1672) who painted delicate landscapes with warm colors.
She now have permanent exhibitions at her workshop in Seranon, south of France, near Cannes.
